[Maya]

Maya sat in class, swinging her legs and staring at her textbook blankly. She didn't know why she went to class anymore, she already knew most of it. All the time they had her locked up in a chamber to inhance her powers got boring and lonely, and no one cared enough to visit her. So it was always her and her books.

She sighed and wanted to take her glasses off. She didn't need them, and they were a bother for the most part. Unfortunatly, she couldn't take them off. they were the only things that kepy her power at bay. She could see the past and the future. It was a rather painful experience, even with her glasses. When she had them on, it was like watching a movie on the television, only with a splitting headache afterwards. Without them... well, she had only had the experience once, and she was not going to take the chance of another.

The bell rang and as the class left, she stayed in her seat and continued to stare at nothing.

[Glace~]

"Class is over, chick I dont know." Glace said as he pasted her desk. He sat directly behind her, but hardly noticed her. Today was the first time he actutally noticed she was there, sighing and looking sorta lost. "I assume you like to learn." He pointed at the book she was staring at, "that, or you dont understand what you just read." He joked, he hardly understood it himself. He wasnt bad with classes, they just sorta bored him.

[Maya]

She looked up at him, blinking in confusion. A small blush ran accross her face. She knew exactly who it was. He was one of the more popular boys in the Hive, one of the stronger students as well. But she never would have imagined him ever talking to her.

'G-Glace is talking to m-me...!' Even in her thoughts she studdered. She quickly closed the book as gracefully as she could and looked down, hiding her face. "I-I've already read it..." She said in a quiet voice. "Twice."

[Glace~]

"I read the back." He laughed. His presence making it slightly more chilly. "So.." He leaned over her desk and reopened her book cover to find her name, once he spotted it he looked at her and smiled, "Maya.." His breath was fresh and chillful, it fogged up her glasses quickly. "Are you leaving class or what?" He stood up straight and raised one hand over his head yawning. "Damx classes like these suxx.." He smiled it off.

[Maya]

She could feel her face turn another color of pink when she realized how close his face had been to hers.

"Uhm, yes," She stood up and placed her notebook over her now closed textbook and picked them up, holding them close to her. She continued to keep her face down As she walked around the other side of the desk to avoid any other close contact with the silver-haired man.

"Maya!" The girl jumped as she finally looked up to the professor in the doorway. He was differently dressed from the rest of the teachers, he was wearing a long white lab coat over white pants and boots. He had gloves over his hands and a medical mask over his face. Her face saddened. He was here to lock her up for a few more days in her chamber for a few more tests that didn't do much in the end but make her visions more painful than needed. "Stop standing there! You have to eat then your chamber is ready! We have a few more tests that we're sure will give you visions more often." He walked out of the room. Maya sighed and looked back at Glace. She gave him a small smile.

"Uhm, i-it was nice to meet you." She said, and begain walking towards the door.

[Glace~]

"Whoa, your a test subject?" Glace asked, stepping in her way, blocking her from the exit. The man with the white lab coat stared at Glace with frusteration, but said nothing knowing that Glace could probably, and most likey kick his axx. He stated quiet as he waited for the short conversation to be over. 'What the hexx can you do?" Glace asked, anticpation written all over his face. "An unusal power is always interesting." he stepped out of the way, in case she still wanted to leave.

[Maya]

She looked at te man in the white coat, fear crossing her face as clear as day. But she turned back to Glace. She closed her eyes and clutched her books tightly.

"I-I... can see the past and future." She said quietly as to not let the lab-man hear her. Well, that, and she was nervous and scared as ever. What could have possibly posessed Glace to tlk to her all of a sudden? It was unheard of for someone of his stature to talk to an invisible like herself.

[Glace~]

"Ah.." Glace said, sitting on one of the students desk, His pose relaxed and composed. "You were an unusal finding today Maya." He got to his feet and headed towards the door, his hand up to show a good-bye without saying a word. He was heading to the battle arena. the best place to catch a thrill of excitement and show off one's skills as a villan.

[Maya]

She looked at him, astonished.

'H-he remembered me name?' this surprised her. Eventhough he had learned her name only moments ago, most people couldn't remember it. She smiled slightly to herself before getting roughly grabbed and dragged out of the room by her arm.

"If your done flirting, it's time to go!" The man in the white coat said, angered by the interruption. "You've wasted time, you'll have to skip lunch!" Her yanked her out into the hallway and she lost her footing. She fell, and he once again pulled her roughly, lifting her to her feet barely. "Get up.

"I'm sorry!" She said quietly, standing. He let her go and began a brisk walk down the hall. She followed after like a lost dog. She completely forgot about her books, which were now scattered around the hallway, picking up the shoeprints of those who stepped on them.

[Glace~]

Laughter was heard at the end of the hallway, where Glace was about to open one of the Hive doors that broke the hallways into sections. He looked back to see a group of kids laughing as one of the freshmans tripped over books and paper. he couldnt help but laugh himself, but being of high autority, it was okay. He turned back to break up the crowd of moronic freshmans who were no better then the guy who fell, when he noticed the books he tripped on was of Maya's.

"GLACE!" a girl called out, the crowd went quiet as they surrounded the talento. Glace was an idol to them, unlike the other upper classman, Glace actual let the freshman attack him with all their might from the start. Of course, Glace was just being curious as to what they could do, but...

He smiled but briskly pushed his way out of the crowd of 'I want to fight you again!", "Rematch!", "Teach me your skills!", and what nots to pick up one of the books. He looked at the others, some where dirty now with foot prints and tearings from kicking and other villian-y acts.

Glace kept walking, now in the other direction, with the still in tact book in his hand.

[Maya]

"Get it." The man said, holding open a thick door to a white room. It was a plain room with only a bed, another door to the bathroom and a small, thick window that looked out onto the training grounds. Every time she was put in there, she felt like she was being admitted into a mental hospital. In that room is where she would stay for days, weeks even. She was more than enthusiastic when she was released so she could have some human interaction once again.

She stepped in, and the door was loudly secured behind her. She was used to the loudness of the door, but it was never a comforting sound. She looked up, and near the ceiling, there was glass. Behind the glass was the room where people would observe her reactions to the tests. She looked at the floor and walked over to the bed and sat down. She wished she could have some company once in a while, but the only person who knew she existed probably would never see her.

[Glace~]

Glace turned halls, and more halls, completely lost to this section of the Hive. He hadent been past his classrooms, his dorm, or the training grounds. He stumbled into a quiet room besides the sound of beepings from mechines and other technoloy he didnt understand. Men and women with glasses and long white coats looked at him as he entered the door, his punk stance saying he didnt care who they were, but it wasnt who he was looking for.

"Hey!" one said, but Glace didnt listen to him, he just turned and headed back to the door when he heard a sponge of cracks under his feet. He looked past his feet at the floor. Glass, His power was cracking the glass, as it froze it where he stood.

Crack...

Crack...

SHATTER!

[Maya]

Maya looked up instantly as she heard the glass above her head shatter. What could have broken that glass? There were only a few things that could do it, but she didn't think anyone with those kinds of powers were let into that room for that reason.

She saw a body fall through the new hole in the ceiling. To her surprise, it was the one person she had been thinking about earlier.

"G-Glace?" She said, shocked as he landed on the floor in front of her.

[Glace~]

He looked up, then at her. "hey maya. Come here often?" He joked as he tossed her her book. The men with the white coats called the hive soldiers to caputre Glace and give him over to the Headmaster for awaiting punishment. However, Glace did not like detenion. He bolted o the door, placing his hand on the metal frams. From his fingertips the door started to freeze, ice gathering on its cold metal surface quickly. With the door solid ice now, glace took ourt his jaggered blade, and crammed it into the ice, making cuts at it, and weaking the door.

He laughed as the Hive soliders were just now arriving and jumping down into the small room. He kicked the remaining door down and ran for it but stopped. "Hey maya you comming?!" He asked, with his hand reached out to her.
